Hey there..

Hi there, welcome to the production blog of our final year film project for BA Hons 3D Animation at the University of Hertfordshire. Mr Ming's Mystery Shop. For this we are putting together a short film about a young boy named Billy who takes up an extremely unconventional saturday job at a Chinese Mystery Shop. All Billy wants in life is 50" LED TV and the newest video games to feed that "addiction" of his, but he obviously doesn't read the small print in Mr Ming's contract as he is thrust into a whole new mysterious world.

We will mainly be using 3Ds Max, to complete the film, with additional programs such as premier, zbrush and many more.

Adding the Mystery

So I've been thinking about how exactly are we going to make this thing look mysterious, my conclusion? its all in the lighting! here's a quick paint over of Mr Ming just before he steps out of the shadows of his shop to give Billy a job brief!
